Selected from Anxi Oolong's "Tie Guan Yin," the newly popular "Jin Guan Yin," and Minnan Si Ji Chun Oolong, this tea base recipe was perfected through numerous blending experiments. The tea leaves undergo a series of processes, including sun-wilting, cooling, shaking, stir-frying, rolling, bundling, and drying, before becoming raw tea. It is then carefully sorted and blended with precision.
To bring out the hidden orchid aroma in the tea and reach an optimal state for absorbing fragrance, a slow-roasting technique with gentle heat is used. After dozens of trial adjustments to temperature and time, low-temperature, long-duration roasting is chosen to preserve the fresh, delicate fragrance of the Qingxiang (light fragrance) variety of Guan Yin while incorporating the sweet, rich flavor of the strong fragrance variety, achieving a balanced and harmonious tea profile.
